The Drive Up To The Barrie Bbq
#1

I was talking with some friend's of mine who are part of the TO Protege club, and they recommend informing the O.P.P. of the day and estimated departure time. The reason is because if there are enough car's the O.P.P. has been know to supply a Police escort!

It might be a good idea, what do you all think?

Uhhhh If you guys from T.O. want it, its up to you. I don't think there are going to be enough peeps from Northern Ontario for that kind of committment.

Plus I don't like the fact of people tying up policing resources for this kind of thing.

Good call, cept for the "jerkass" part. I think it would be best to leave the cops outta this. I think they have better things to do IMHO. :D

Probably more hassles than benefits to that plan. I mean I'm sure all of the mods people have done to their cars conform to the HTA and that they all carry paper docs to prove it right?

I mean the only thing the cops could nail my car for is poor taste with teh chrome exhaust tip but you never know :P

 Ahh, ok, bad idea I guess. It's just that I was told that a few year's ago at the meet of all car's they informed the police of what they were planning and the they sent two police car's as a sort of escort. One in the front and one at the back. They said it was great and the rest of the cop's on the road just left them alone.

I have to agree. Some of the topics occurring lately are right out of retards-r-us. It's just doesn't make sense and any idiot could figure out the answer by doing a fawkin search.

BTW. Bunny is right. For once. This topic screams I AM AN IDIOT.

Damn... I think you used the word "jerkass" about 20 times today. And most of those times were at the end of every post. And most of those were on NOS's posts.

You're starting to remind me of that guy on Happy Gilmore who kept calling Happy a "Jackass".
