Eyelid Redo
#1
Okay, I wasn't completely happy with how low the eyelids on my headlights went, so i redid them. This time i didn't bother with taking them off the car...(tooooo much work), so i masked them this time.

Now, i think they look better, and the chrome on the top part of my housing is completely covered...much better i think.

original eyelid and how much more i wanted to add. almost a 1/2 inch

A little bit of light bleeds out the top..i'll fix that with touch up...

Looks good! But the light coming through the tops of both is noticeable still, as Smith21 posted.

You got balls painting your headlights in the first place, nevermind on the car.

Yeah I agree, I personally would have went the vinyl route but it would be a PITA to get them to color matched. Too bad someone wouldn't bring out a set like the KAMEI ones they make for the pre 2005 ones.

I'm just a stickler for details, but fix the light coming through the top. It cheapens the whole experience. :(

Yeah a touch-up will fix it.

I'm in the "it looks better now than it did before" camp. Good job!
