Hey Guys, don't mean to sound ignit, but is it REALLY worth investigating some electonic upgrades to the SVT computer system...not sure what it's called, like getting a chip, having it flashed, changing the programming....all that techy stuff....do you really notice a difference with a stock SVT, or do you need to upgrade a whole bunch of stuff to go along with it.
Just curious if it's a waste for a stocker.
2002 SVT mostly stock...K&N, KVR Carbon Fibre Brakes, Steeda Short Shifter, Steeda Carbon Fibre Dash Kit and no DAMN orange blinkers!

The SVT has questionable factory ECU programming as it is. A lot of guys, on here and on other sites, have realized that a SCT custom tune makes all the difference in the world.
Daily driver 1: 2007 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sport "S"
33" BFG Mud-Terrain KM2s, lots of Rough Country gear - bumper, 2.5" lift, swaybar disconnects, Superwinch 10,000lb winch, Detroit Locker in rear D44 axle, custom exhaust, K+N filtercharger, Superchips-tuned.
Daily driver 2: 2006 Subaru Legacy GT
COBB Stage 1+ package - AccessPort tuner, COBB intake and airbox. Stage 2 coming shortly - COBB 3" AT stainless DP and race cat, custom 3" Magnaflow-based exhaust and Stage 2 COBB tune.

the best thing I did on the SVT...(thanx Kev)..it felt so good at low rpms...when the needle reached the 3k it was really awesome..get it without a doubt..also I had the Brullen exhaust..(Kev again), the Demon coil and wires, the short ram intake, the short shifter, engine mounts....hawk brake pads(awesome)..all the things together made a big change on the car..
one thing you should change...the exhaust.....!
good luck
00 DAKOTA R/T.......I just didnt like the torque of the Focus thats all...!!!
