I have a 2000 ZX3. I want to get better than factory spark plugs. Let me know what my options are, where I can get them, and how much do they cost. Thank you.

to be honest, you're not going to see any improvement over stock plugs unless you're FI (and then you need 1 step colder).
better to save the money and just replace with stock platinums. Contribute to focuscanada.net's future! Donations of $20 and over get a custom title!

ngk PTR5A-13. Any performance shop can get them, but not canadian tire. They are the same idea as the motorcraft ones, they're just prettier.
ps. Don't forget to gap them; use a feeler type gapping tool, the dial ones are hoplessly inaccurate.

Crappy Tire? do you have an aversion to the dealership? When I deal with the parts guy directly he gives me everything dirt cheap... Cantire won't have plug for you car, you will have to go to performance shop(NGK) or dealer(motorcraft P or colder) or Walmart in the state(autolite). Stock gap should be .051, but anywhere between .051 to .054 is fine. My suggestion is don't use colder plug w/out FI.

I replaced my motorcraft platinums with Bosch Platinum +4. So far so good.
