Anybody have this combination? I've heard very good things about the race header but haven't heard much about the obx exhaust? Saw THIS on ebay and was curious if anybody has ever tried it. I'm going to pick up an obx race header and want to do the exhaust at the same time. My question is, should I go with the OBX exhaust or the MBRP. I would also like to know where to order the MBRP exhaust.

I can only assume that the OBX exhaust will be loud and ricey. I have the race header from OBX and just this past weekend I had an exhaust made for me, including a universal cat, 2.25" stainless pipe and a magnaflow muffler. It is loud but not high pitched or tinny sounding. The 2nd gen MBRP are quieter than the first gen. I would go with MBRP in this case since it's made for the car and it's really cheap. To order it simply goto mbrp.com and you can order it from them directly. Since they make them as they go it'll take you about 2 weeks to get it.

Just installed my 2nd gen MBRP this weekend... quieter than expected. Really nice, deeper tone. Cost $350 delivered to my door. Took 2 days, as they always keep some pre-made ones in stock.

Bigman...can't complain about the MBRP, i've had mine for about 10 months now, i love it! People who have custom exhausts where i live wish they had something like mine, quite when you want it 2 be, but loud when you want it 2 be lol...perfect exhaust, and suits the car very well...and an excellent fit if your installing it urself

I believe OBX is a HK knock off, it go under the trail arm instead of going over it.

Yeah the obx goes under the car. Anyone I know that has it likes it. Personally I don't like the crooked trash can under the car look myself but that's only my opinion.
