What the heck is an orthodox pentacostal and why are they finding fault in our avatars? I thought that was General Protection's territory?
Seriously, it's a family-themed board (sorta) but please... let's not turn this into happy fuzzy toddler hour.
It's like removing the fault of the parents for the child shooting up a school, or worse yet, punting another child in front of traffic.
Avatars can be enabled or disabled in a user's profile. I believe that's where the choice should be made.
No NSFW in OT. Fine. I agree. No selling before 100 posts. Cool.
But Gestapoing the avatars? C'mon guys.

people were complaining about one or two avatars, and then people started complaining that people were complaining about some avatars over others.. so I drew the line, no swearing, no sexually explicit avatars..period.
if you don't like family friendly avatars, disable them in your profile.
or I will have disable avatars by default because the new user who comes as a guest doesn't get the choice of ignoring avatars.

I rather like the "disabled by default" idea, Steve. Take it away, and if you enable it, you risk not liking what you see.
