Just curious how many kilometers a Zetec will run. We've got 208K on our 2000 wagon and it's still running fine. Changed the cam timing belt, and water pump at the same time, but haven't done anything else. Oh, 'cept 2 sets of plugs.

I've got a spare new engine, but I doubt I will ever need it.

i think these engines will run for a long time if taken care of properly. One way to tell is the junk yards :) they have Zetec engines for about $300, thats bc no one is buying them which means no one is needing to replace an engine yet on these cars.

bought my 2000 zx3 with 132000k now 2 years later with 197000k and zero problems. she has been go to me :D :D :D :D :D
In Europe FORD is pronounced "\kwa-le-te\"
