Assfire!!! don't fart too much with the heat on!!! Certain 03-04 mexican and american focus (excluding SVT) seat heaters can burn (wait for pic of heat pad). Only certain models apply if you don't get a notice your probably ok. The VIN can be checked with Ford service dept. to be sure

but my heaters have been excellent for over 2 years....
Thats actually one thing I have no complaints about...

I got it too but mine arent broken yet and I know if I should bring it to ford they will probobly not work anymore after they get through with them.
I drive a 2010 Golf that growls at people when it goes over 3000rpm.

what it seems to be is that where the heater pads are attached to the seats at the front and rear the front wasn't fastened properly and they bunch up after time and the element touches itself and burn baby burn
