Well, jus drove my sisters car....damn it feels "peppy". She has the 2005 Focus 2.0L ZX3 SE.
Someone was telling me something about backpressure? Am I losing anything with my setup? or is the Duratec Engine just more "peppier"?
My setup is on my signature below

The Duratec has way more HP then a Zetec. With all your mods you are running, your probably getting basically the same HP output as your sister's stock 05. Your probably getting a bit more but her car is also newer so that could play a part in there. 2.5" exhaust, with all your running, that should be perfect.

2.5 is a little big... But meh... wont affect that much so I wouldnt worry about that.
The new focus's are just peppier.. just gotta live with that ... *shrug*

with the mods you have you should look into some cams next, something like a stage 2, also cam gear and dyno tune them, your car will feel incredibly different after that. :D

also ask pat for his 2000 intake manifold and port your throttle body, matched with the cams and cam-gear you should see around 140 hp / 140 tq maybe ever 150 if your lucky and tune them well. ;)

The Duratec 20 (2.0L) and the Duratec 23 (2.3L) are indeed more peppy thats for sure!! The 2.3 started in the states to meet California standards as the PZEV (Partial Zero Emissions Vehicle) and was available in the 04's

well, I was saying cams and all, but if you can afford a little supercharger... slap a jackson on there and you'll be all over her. ;)
its the perfect mod to bolt on and forget about it, it need no maintenance at all and can be found used for a pretty descent price.
