Stuck Gauge In Pod
#1
Hey guys,

Stupid question, looking for recommendations.

I bought a gauge pod for my STi, and it turned out to be made out of fiberglass, well I took 2 out of the 3 gauges out because I already have my own to use. The last one will not come out! I tried heating it a bit, and tried some WD40, and its stuck in there! I don't want to break the pod, but I need this puppy out.

Any ideas guys?

If you have a can of compressed air, invert it and spray the back of the guage for 20 seconds.

Maybe the cold will break it free.

Watch your fingers or you'll get frostbite.

Be careful with freezing fiberglass, you can make it really brittle and it'll crack.

Have you tried talking sweet to it?

but seriously try to spin it if you can and pull/push it out. Sometimes it'll help
