Does anyone know what the torque is for the valve cover? I can't find it anywhere.

Haynes Repair Manual : valve cover bolts 80 in-lbs
For comparison, 80 in-lbs is HAND TIGHT in comparison as long as you are not cranking on it so if you don't have a torque wrench, go by that.

The Ford shop manual says the same: 80 lb-in. or 9 Nm.

just tighten it by hand by putting the very top of the rachet and turn it till its tight. don't use the handle of the rachet.
