Electric Fuel Pressure Gauge Hookup - Steeda Boy - 03-31-2004

Hey guys, I'm installing a Cobalt Series Electric Fuel Pressure Gauge from Autometer and I need to know where exactly does the presure sensor goes.\

Does anyone have this installed ??
If you have pics of where the sensor hooks up that would be great.

Let me know how the install went

Thanks in advance

Steeda

I was reading through the autometer install guides when I was shopping around..

is there a t-fitting that comes with the guage? I would assume you could have it anywhere in the fuel line between the pump and fuel rail..

not sure if that's the case with the fuel meter tho.

I took a look quickly at the unit and it doesn't seem to have any t-connectors, but the sending unit. I guess I'll have to do a bit of plumbing to hook it up. Do anyone know if I could hookup the sending unit to the stock Fuel-Rail ?

yes you can, but i recomend you go to a shop and get it done. You need to take the plate off the end of the rail. drill it out to tap it to the right npt size. some brass and your done. if you F@^k it up throw away you rail and start walking to the delear for a new one.
