Should I Lube Brake Caliper Bolts? - Nutella - 11-27-2007

Is it necessary to lube the front caliper slider bolts? My Focus is only 1year old with 18,000KM

My mazda protege needs this done every 10K or so on the rear, or the calipers risk seizing. So it's preventative maintenance to lube the slider bolts with brake grease.

I do it when I change the brakes obviously, but not when I change the tires. <_<
