05 Zx3 Cabin Air Filter Replacement

does anyone know how to replace the cabin air filter on a 2005 zx3? ( if theres one)

Ford removed the cabin air filter housing for 05 and up. Although, I managed to fit the cabin air filter for the Focus from crappy tire over the stock mesh that covers the filter housing... it's worked alright so far.

EDIT: And here's a write up on how to get to that location here. Only difference with our newer cars is that there is no piece to pry off in order to remove the panel covering the filter.

do you think that is gonna make a diff changing it? better "air quality"?

Well that is the main air duct, so it should. I did notice a much cleaner car as I haven't had the time to clean the interior as much anymore, months without any dusting... and the car is so much cleaner than before I installed the filter. I actually checked it a week or so ago, and knocked out a bunch of crap from the element, reinstalled and still kicking. I plan on replacing it once a year.
