That only works for the first forum page. It restarts with each page you view. Then it downloads over hundred items with each page.

why is it hard to read? is it the red on white? font size? the page was developed at 1024x768.. if you run a higher resolution than that, it could affect the readability.

as for the drink n' drive logo.. If you can give it to me on black, I'll give it a black background.

Btw.. I removed the snow for now. I have to dig up a machine as unpowerful as dblast's to test before I re-introduce snow..

I think it has more to do with our firewall at work because I see the snow fine at home with a less powerful system than I have at work.

It's working good for me here at the office, but we have a fairly stout pipe and filtering on the firewall is fairly light.

it's probably a number of connections thing. The script may be trying to open all those connections to initialize all the objects at once, but it may be flooding the firewall.

Better to disable it for the moment and make sure I don't get anyone in trouble with their IT guys.
