Wheel Decisions
#1
I've decided that the stock 5-spoke OEM 16" rims on the Focus will be the winter rims. I need suggestions on what to get. I've put 5 rim choices up in the poll, along with an option for "other".

Right now I'm using http://www.1010tires.com for choices - does anyone have any other options (preferably in Canada)?

I'm only looking to go +1 for rim size at the moment... this way if I drop the car down the road, rubbing shouldn't be too much of an issue. If there's something REALLY compelling in 18" sizing ;) I wouldn't be against checking it out however.

Thanks guys. :)

All of the wheels, as listed above, are linked below:

I like the Kobe Oku-8 and the Evo6's the best...

try Deals 4 wheels

Some of the guys I know have dealt with them and have been pretty happy. They seem to be pretty cheap, especially if you can work out a cash deal ;)

Out of the options you have there, I like the "Trouble" style wheels the best because it has both silver and graphite look to it.

Hmmm there are a LOT of wheels that don't have 4x108 spacing. GRRR.

I'm getting a lot of ideas, but PLEASE... keep them coming! I really appreciate it! :D

Brian - thanks for hooking me up with the site! The EVO6s are starting to grow on me, I think.

ZX5focused - OZs would be pimp, but I'm having trouble finding a Canadian distributor for them.

If someone can find a Canadian line on the OZ Superleggeras or Superturismos, let me know.

I'll keep digging, but it looks like it'll be either the Enkei EVO6s or the Konig Tuner2s at this point.

EDIT - I found the Superturismos on tirerack.com - $249 each. Aren't those the same as the EAP SVT rims but in white? The Superturismo GTs (silver - 18") are sweeeeeeet.

I still think I'll end up with either the Enkei or Konig offerings at this rate... plus I have other avenues to explore, too. ;)

Hmm, you're right Bryan... the Quasars are pretty hot. And they're already in Canada AND there's no tax... just shipping from Mitch. I'll keep them in mind for sure.

I'd put SVT wheels on the car...they'd look nice, won't break as easily as lightweight rims, and won't break the bank either...some people might happen to have some kicking around too....>nudge< ;)

Am I a complete retard today, or is this wheel also available in a light silver?

I spent over an hour looking at wheels at my brother-in-law's place tonight after supper (while simultaneously looking for GSX-R parts for him, too) and found that I really, REALLY like the SVT EAP rims on red Foci.

Help an indecisive guy out.
