Ford is busy courting the youth population as potential buyers for the new Fiesta--it has brought 100 Fiesta five-doors over from Europe and loaned them to people for extended test drives.
Meanwhile, engineers are putting the final touches on the Fiesta for the United States. Some of those changes are happening in the front and back, as seen on this prototype of the 2011 Fiesta sedan.
Up front, the U.S. Fiesta gets a new fascia with a larger grille opening and redesigned bumper. Also, there's a new bumper design hung on the Fiesta's back end.
Ford will build Fiestas for the U.S. market at its plant in Cuautitlan, Mexico.

funny thing when I saw these pics on LLN, I thought it was odd they left the rear fog light on the back of the car, when you know they'll delete it when it goes into production for north america.

QFT. Between arcane crash laws and terrible styling choices, the only thing killing Ford's resurgence in this crazy economy is... Ford.

actually, Mercedes, Audi, Volvo, Saab, & imported french cars have them as standard equipment here. It's just I highly doubt they'll keep it on there because when the E-spec Focus was testing here in N/A they deleted it when they americanized it. Plus there is no law requiring Ford of America to keep it, even though if they built it from the same parts bin you know it will go away, or removed to correct the switch like VW & BMW do.
