I had the same problem when I installed my billet fuel door....
I think I just zip tied the hose to the filler neck and left it like that

Thanks for the idea, I might grab a stock one from the wreckers and see if I can chop and remould to work, if not I'll prbably just zip tie it.

I have the euro locking filler flap on my ZX3, I did not have a spot to connect that hose, so I just zip tied it to the filler neck like everyone else did.
It's just a vent hose, when you pour gas into the tank, the air in your tank needs to escape somewhere, otherwise a fill up will take you an awfully long time.
