I tapped into one of the rad lines with mine. Fabbed and welded up a little bung, cut the hose, and clamped the two ends around this metal piece with the sender in the middle. It's been flawless for 2 years now...

Remember to ground the sender also.

It's one of the harder gauges to install for sure, but it works...
