If you're not familiar with that kind of work I strongly suggest to NOT drill your thermostat housing. You could mess it up really easy. The plastic housing is known to crack and leak by it's own and adding holes in it surely won't help.

Go to some hardware store and get yourself a plastic T to splice one of your hose. Much safer and quick than removing the whole thermostat housing.
