Seafoam
#1
I tried Seafoam, an "engine cleaner" to see if it would help clear up a small problem I had. The engine at idle would be erratic, going up and down, and sometimes stay too high. Cleaned the MAF sensor first, that helped a little. Tried Seafoam, pored some, 2-3 ounces, into a vacuum line. Let it sit for ten minutes, started up the car, and for a minute, I thought I had blown something up. The exhaust was very white and lots of smoke for a few minutes. Apparently, this means the stuff is working. Since then, the idle is steady, at the proper speed, and I've noticed a better all round driveability to the car. I'm recommending this product to help keep our engines running smoothly.
