Well the new Dodge Challenger should outsell the Camaro, and for it's first year which will be a limited production unit with no options, I wouldn't doubt it sells quicker than the Camaro... and continues demand/orders into the next model year (which will have customizable options).

If the Camaro is 'premium priced' then doesn't that classify itself out of the competitors ranges? Thus bringing it into a different class of vehicle? It's no exotic, so why make it so special as to price it like one? Why not bring it out with a typical GM powerplant and make it a competitive priced model, then offer the 400hp beast as a special edition or GT (I mean SS) model?
