I wouldn't be renewing my contrct for their services for an entire year. Go monthly or even qurterly so you don't get burned if they do go under.

Agreed in terms of paying up front for a long-term deal ... but reading the underlying articles it appears this is more about Ergen gaining control of the assets without having to buy out the current shareholders - - as opposed to the service itself actually ceasing to exist.
Either way no doubt there's a big shakeup coming in sat radio.
