100A is peak right not root mean square?
I'm pretty sure the stock one is well under 100A, 55A comes to mind. It was years ago, when I was on FJ, but there was an bigger alternator available, 65 I believe.
You probably know that whatever extra power goes to drive the alternator takes away from the drivetrain. Another way to go is a second battery in the trunk I guess? possibly a deep cycle marine battery? but then there is a weight penalty.
