I can switch to a HD flasher, no problem. Transport trucks use LED's and they don't have any special wiring. I worked for a HD truck parts company for 2 years and thuy use a normal 2 pin flasher just like cars. Only more robust to handle up to 20 circuts.

Because there is not much resistance on the LED the car thinks the light is burnt out and it flashes fast. So you need resistors to draw the same amount of wattage as regular bulbs. This will eliminate the fast flashing.
