Grille
#1
So I got bored the other night and decided to spray my grille. The black part separated from the chrome very easily and the paint stuck to it well. Just a very easy mod for someone with an 05-07 [Image: 100_2892.jpg]

Very nice indeed

Now if I had any skill in painting that would be a project to tackle...

putting in oven or other method to open headlights and few screws holding inside bezel, take that out, sand lightly, primer, base coat..let it dry, reassemble silicone to seal it back..

but be careful with oven method, tab melts under lower temp than other parts..
it is all about patient.

That looks good - nice job. How did you get the black part off the chrome part without destroying those little tabs?

To get it separated you just need a sharp knife and a little patience. It only took a few min to get it appart. There are little tabs holding the clips tight, just slice those off and then the clips will be able to move. Dont wory it still holds tight.
