I just bought a pair of MTX audio 5X7 spaeakers for the back of my focus and I was wondering about wirirng. I have a white with purple wire and a grey with white wire, does anyone know which is + and which is -. thanks guys

It should say it on the Speaker terminals, shouldnt it?

these are the factory wires in the car.

Do you have a Volt tester. Ats the only way you will find out.
Other then just trying it both way's. One way will sound proper and the other will sound like s**t.

If the volt tester doesn't work...get a 9 volt battery and put the wires on it. if the speaker go put the wire that is on the + on the battery is the +.

He's trying to figure out which factory wire is positive or negative.

HAHA but If I rember right from my ford wiring hell when I installed my door speakers. Then purple is positive... Not 100% though.
