Long Distance Relationships
#21
2001 ZTS,Sep 20 2005, 01:42 PM Wrote:Depends on how far your willing to travel for dirty sex. If it's the only way to get some because you're butt ugly and/or disfigured then go for it. If there are options closer to home then it's all about conseravtion of effort.

The only time long distance relationships are useful is in order to reduce the chances of getting caught when you have multiple relationships. ;)

Yes puppet there are such things as 'multiple'.

Yeah, I always heard about sailors making "human chains" but then someone remarked it had nothing to do with saving anyone's life... :o

I met this really awsome girl about 3 weeks ago when i went down south to visit family. Well, i ended up really getting to know this girl as it was a good friend of my couzins girlfriend. Now, i'm starting to talk to this girl more often, well, lots can be considered an explanation of how much we talk. Anywyas, i'm not sure if i should try and go further with this, becuase my couzing girlfriend said that she liked me when i was down visiting, and we've seemed to get closer as of late. Should i try for a long distance relationship, or go local?

don't do it, especially this early into a relationship. Cus if noone wants to make the move you will have wasted a lot of time........my gf of 2 years just moved back to BC to be with her family......we both decided that if someone else comes along then to take advantage of the situation and experience life, cus if we are meant to be together we will get together in the end

well guys, reading all your posts, i noticed that i forgot to note that i'm in sudbury, and she's in barrie, and i go up there frequently, and am planning on going more frequently, and even moving there maybe come spring, and forsure come fall, so that moving/traveling there isn't an issue for me. And about questioning it, i always do, i did about my last girlfriend, and hell, we lasted over a year (long for me, don't say anything) But it's just weird at how everything is kinda working out, and i was just curious as to what everyone thaught. Thanks for the comments, and keep them coming guys!

i dunno.. if you find some one.. DO IT!! s**t some of the best times I had were just on the drives going to and back.

Plus rock chips and smashed up bumpers are sweet. Plus my relationship made me realize how how much of a waste of time it was modifying a car.

and you won't drive it in the winter?

sorry to go offtopic ...

I guess it boils down to that it can't hurt to give it a whirl, if you feel the need to move on later, you still can.. not like you're locked into a 5 year contract.

if you seen a sask winter you would realize why I dont like driving. I would park my beater to if I had to. I dont park it becuase im scared of wrecking the car. I park it simply becuase I wouldnt be able to get anywhere. It only gets parked for some winter. I bring it back out once the roads start getting better.

I think it depands on the person... but if it was me - it would be a no!

What's the hurt in trying? Its not like you've known this girl for awhile, so if it doesn't work, it doesn't work. Its not like you've known her for awhile and your not sure if you two should hook up or not.

Give it a try! Why not?

there was once like 2 cm of snow and i was on my way to school, in the topaz when i first got my licence, and dayum, 4 car in the ditch in less than a km, i was left shaking my head. How did these people pass there driving tests? It was a straight road, 50km/h. I once drove on that same road on pure ice, when it was like -30 when the salt doesn't work, and it was slippery and i could do 40km with almost no traction at all, you could have skated on it. There was this jeep coming the other way maybe doing about 20km coming to the stoplight, then he puts the brakes on, his wheels stop spinnig and he slid right through the stop sign, it was hilarious
